My last post was in June 2009. Not because I dont have anything to say (we all know better than that!) but because I have not been able to log in! Frustrating! I finally got my password changed and Im ready to get back on the blog!
The summer was great--kids playing baseball/softabll/
My 30th birthday was fun! Im so blesssed to have such amazing people in my life--and who actually like me too! :)
Holidays were good--everyone got spoiled!
We got a new puppy in January. A Lab/Chesapeake Bay mix named Bob. He was so tiny when we first got him! I could hold him with one hand and he would sleep on my chest! Not so much anymore--he's huge!! He is a pretty good dog, but definitely a puppy and he can easily wear my nerves down!!
Work is...work. I dont have the most glamorous job--but Im making a point to make the positive out of it.
Hmmm....cant think of anything else. Oh, I got a new car yesterday! We traded in Jason's Yukon for a little Passat. Nothing fancy, just something for me to drive around town and that gets more than 12 mpg (boo!)
Pictures of car and puppy coming soon!

Geez--My kids are old--and perhaps me too.
My mom brought it to my attention that the kids' ages were wrong in the About Me section......it was honestly a little painful to update to two 9 year olds, one 8 year old, and one 7 year old.
Seriously....Tyler is 9 1/2 years old. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?
Im going to take a few minutes to absorb that information...........
Im the oldest 29 yr old woman ever.

A Compilation of Posts, a Potluck if you will.
I was addressed as MAAM last night. I know what you are all thinking, “What?!?, that gorgeous woman was called a MAAM!” That’s how I feel as well! It is clearly obvious to me, and to most of you, I’m sure….that I am a MISS! The man actually called me MAAM twice because I did not know he was talking to me the first time. Perhaps this wouldn’t bother me if I wasn’t under the 6 month mark to the age 30. And every time I log on Facebook, someone from our high school is turning 30. Maybe I’m having a 1/3 life crisis.

After you get married…..you are supposed to have babies, right? Right? No? Not sure? Yes? Who cares?

I was also caught today. I see a PA for all of my medical needs. She is great and she has been my care provider since we moved to Rapid City. I went in today for a routine thing and she says, “lets check when your last pap was….” YIKES! I know, I know, I should have a pap every year, but I am a year overdue. This year has completely flown by though. So, she caught me. I have to make an appointment for a pap.

Scenario:
Second major blizzard in 2 weeks. Lots of drifts. 4th day of school cancellation in 2 weeks. Everyone on the street is out shoveling huge drifts. You have a 4-wheeler with a plow on it.
Question:
Do you plow the whole sidewalk on your block?
Answer:
A. Heck yes I do. I’m a nice neighbor and I can clearly see that you and the rest of my neighbors are struggling with ridiculous drifts.
B. I’ll have to think about it. Maybe after I’m done spinning cookies and making a mess of the street.
C. Depends. I might do every other house. I might be a jerk.
D. No way, everyone else can be jealous of me and my 4-wheeler. In fact, I’m going to plow the sidewalk over and over again…..just because.
Notes to Self:
-Quit going to the Big D gas station on Omaha St. The cashier guy has an obvious crush on you. Yes, you are gorgeously attractive and people cant help but to hit on you, but you are a married woman, and I doubt you can be supportive of the guy’s meth habit.
-88oz of Diet Mt. Dew per day is NOT good for you. But it tastes good.
-Choose more appropriate shoes after a blizzard. Your new boots look hot, but they really are not very functional in the walking/standing up department.
-You will be a much happier person if you keep your purse organized.

Wedding Update
Well.....after we thought about it for awhile and had yet to make any concrete wedding plans....we have decided to have a small family ceremony in Vegas on January 31st. Planning a wedding it too expensive and time consuming. Since we are combining all of OUR lives, we want to make it about US. We want to take the kids to Circus Circus, the M & M Factory, maybe the Shark Reef....fun family stuff! I'll post pictures, I promise!
